Chucatjhingwhgat the hell is this?
That program was on discovery right? I've also seen it once.
The Discovery (chanell, civilisation[world] and science) are almost only chanells I watch.
Nessy is not real, thy investigated it and it can not be real.1. there arent enough fish in the lake to feed a gigantic prehistoric creature.2. it would be seen more often and better because it needs to get air every ...hour3. there is no way a creature could survive that long.

Best Admin: jrgp, he's like the forum mom and a pet dog rolled into one.
In my humble opinion: Nessy, Bigfoot, Ghosts, Spirits, God, Angels, Demons, Centaurs, Vampires, Chupacabras, Dragons are all as likely as each other to exist... and that is: not likely at all.All of these supernatural beings originate in folklore dating back thousands of years (apart from The Chupacabra which is fairly recent in comparison) there is no evidence to support any of them.
The Bible is both metaphorical and literal.
And so if you're going to interpret the Bible in a metaphorical and personal way, that completely invalidates it as a historical account because you're simply picking and choosing what is true and what is metaphor yourself - essentially extrapolating the history of the Earth out of your mind based on your religious interpretation of a religious book.

Source?2. I've heard that there are caves under water that would have air pockets in them. Anyway, a creature would only need to raise its nostrils two inches above the water for a short period of time to breathe.3. Yeah, because all of the sightings have obviously been of the same creature. Do you realize how foolish that sounds? One just appeared out of nowhere, no parents, no offspring, just a random anomaly in the fabric of space-time?
The Bible is not a valid account of history. Why? Well it's quite simple really... to take the Bible as a historical account would mean you would have to be interpreting it literally... in which case all logic falls apart and it actually violates numerous aspects of History which we know to be true.... And so if you're going to interpret the Bible in a metaphorical and personal way, that completely invalidates it as a historical account because you're simply picking and choosing what is true and what is metaphor yourself - essentially extrapolating the history of the Earth out of your mind based on your religious interpretation of a religious book.
Am I wrong or are Americans extremely stupid when it comes to religion,

I feel the hate rising in me as I reed that people actually believe in Nonsense.its easy to make fake pictures, and people are stupid. I believe there Could be life on other planets though, that we have yet to discover. Btw: Religion seriously piss me off!!!!!!!!!! and by the way haha. Am I wrong or are Americans extremely stupid when it comes to religion, and super natural things, and I hate typical American sweet talk! omg I'm gonna stop writing before I get my gun. :@

Well then, your error is assuming that all of those creatures are supernatural. You really think that people believe the Loch Ness Monster is some sort of ghost?
So unless you actually want to come at this with an open mind shut up cause I honestly don't want to hear anymore tired theories.
Chupacabra has so many images. I mean, I saw so many pictures of it and everytime its something other. On one picture it was something like an little alien with long nails and colorful (like rainbow) long hair on its back and sometime its a little mammal, like hyena, coyote or something with body like canguroo (or how that jumper spells ). It sucks all the blood from the body just through little hole ussualy on the victims neck. It sounds rather unreal for me but most of that are facts, mainly....or only the found bodies with no blood at all and with little wound in areas of neck. Nessie is pretty real to me, why not ? I saw it once in Acty-X. (love that series) But in one documentary it was said that they gave into the water a sonda with sonar radar and it didn't got any signal from any bigger object.
He might be referring to the idea of looking at an event from the bible in the sense of how it relates to today. For example, when Saul wins a battle he is told by God to slay all the livestock. Instead he keeps some and sacrifices to God. He then loses favor with God. The moral of this particular story is obvious, it is better to do as God says than to A: think your way is better and do that, and B: repent your sins later.Or not...
You mean tired theories like Evolution? Only an agnostic could be truly open minded so don't try and stipulate that religious people are open minded and atheists aren't.
That doesn't really have anything to do with this topic... I mean... we're talking about the Bible as a historical document rather than as a religious text.
