Hey, everybody!

I am making a new Soldat movie at the moment. There's not much to say, but I can promise that it'll be a very entertaining movie. I made a nice short trailer for it and I hope you'll enjoy watching it. Have fun!

That's SWEET

One of the better quality Soldat movies by far. I do have a couple of concerns though; Firstly, the action is quite fast, and with Soldat sized characters it's pretty difficult to grasp the action, so if you dont mind, maybe work a bit more on the fighting scenes (I dont know how you get the recordings, but if you're using human players, have them act more slowly so we can see exactly what's going on) A good idea for this will be to kind of zoom in on the action (not just have the whole screen all the time)

Also, what mod is this that you're using? is it FM's WWII ?

Well, the movie I make is ~ 85 per cent complete yet. But I have to work on special scenes for it... hard to make. I fear, that the finished movie won't work with zoom effects (not possible with Windows Movie Maker :X). But it'll be a movie with story (historical of course!).

The mod I use is selfmade, also the maps, some of the scenerys and the other settings. It is not a very playable mod. It was just created to do its job in this movie.

Sorry for my bad English, I think you understand, what I mean.

I know there was a big fat delay in releasing, but I am proud to say: I'm finished.

Very very nice job. I'd say it's not quality at all, that kinda sucks u in the movie, but the way it has been done. U can actually see and feel how much effort had been put into this work. Everything is nice... but there is also one thing that kinda disappointed me =( I dunno whether it is lack of English (which is obvious) or maybe it was supposed to be funny in some places... but u just dont get into it. I'll give an example, like when Czechs talk with each other (11-51) conversation goes like:" Do u think we collected enough informations (its wrong btw =p)" - "Dunno, but we can try it". Dude it sounds like if they fail, they'll respawn and try it all over again. My point here is, that movie at some places (well... pretty much most of the time) seems to be kinda serious, and u really get into it, and then phrases like that just blow all that seriousness away. I mean, ye, i really do understand lack of English, as i myself wouldn't understand a word in German =p. But dude, it isn't really hard to ask for help, just to make such a great movie even better. I'd give it 9.5/10... but i wont, just because of everything i said. 8/10 for very very good effort there, and creativity.

Yes, at first the movie should be a serious movie. I know that there are some funny elements - some that aren't obvious funny and some that are. For example the office scene: It was created to show how German "Schreibtischtäter" (people who are sitting behind their desks and sign death sentences) are an why the Czechs anted him to die. On the other side the texts (German of couse) are very cynically. Another example are these goddamned jumoing soldiers in some parts of the movie. Like most of the people said who watched this movie, it is very annoying and looks stupid. It wasn't planned, it is a bug, that I couldn't avoid (if I would make these scenes again I might use scenery instead of "real soldiers"). These jumpings don't occur during I act in the scenes - they occur only by viewing the demos and recording movieclips from it. Some scenes were pretty hard to create and was recorded up to 20 times (well, like such a long scene like the briefing). Also I have to say that there is no script existing. Most of the text passages were created during recording. I was aware of "informations", "parachute", "Don't dink so much" and such words and phrases but I was too lazy to correct it, because it would mean that I had to make this all again.

All in all I know that there is much to correct. Well, next time I'll take more time to plan the movie. But I hope you enjoyed watching it.
