...or the soldat modding community is quite dead.

From the time I left not too much changed.

Not many mods appeared.

Nobody new came at all.

What's wrong ?

Many mods in research died in the WIP style. (some of mine as well

)

I have not seen anymore Slayer DZ, Will and few times new posts from PaFel, TbC was starting at modding and you know what happened...

I have about 5 or 6 WIP mods which I most likely won't finish due to lack of interest... I don't play soldat so much now.

Well Dairy, the fact is...you killed the modding community. Anyone looking at a mod you made just gives up and uses it because they know they'll never be able to make anything better.

Plus I stopped modding, and with me gone, no one had any inspiration. When I left, the life of the forum went with me. I mean, I don't want to sound egotistical, but, deep inside, you all know it's true.

Frunk, i don't thank that what you say about Dairy is true, you cannot never know what you can find, i mean, what if someone comes and show us a new modding style never seen? We all know that for now Dairy is the best, but everyone haves a chance

Modding part of this community, for now - is just idle, not dead.

Well I'll admit that to a degree, modding has become so 'inflated' that it can be hard for newbies to enter into modding unless they are especially talented. Also, there are just about enough mods that most people can find whatever they're looking for instead of having to DIY like back in the old days.

The modding section is just getting less active, not dying. Dying = No new mods for a long time. There has been some new mods.

Also, I agree with Espadon. In the old days there weren't many mods, but now there's lots of them, and also the expectations of mods have rose, and so it can be hard for the less-talented to actually be a modder.

Still guys. It could be much better. And in that case I'm coming back. Starting from scratch and searching for my lost skills, as a proof I'm representing FN F2000 which I just made. I'm still not that bad.

It's because It's not so bad on the university and I've still got plenty of time, at least now on weekend when I don't have any exams.

But I have to agree. Some people around feel too "strong" and flame all the newcomers. It's shame.

Heh, ok. Maybe in one week or so I can make another mod. Because during the week I have no time I'm not home but during the weekend I have plenty of time.
