help needed with modding

well, i am currently making a mod but i have few problems with that. Now i have made some graphics to weapons, BUT I need to know how to get scripts working, because i have no idea how that works, and do i need some kind a program to do scripts and get them working in my server! and if i put my game to server, will it send automatically all graphics and weapon mod in "mods/[my mod]" folder to others, or do i have to do more something else? I REALLY need help!

Err... you cannot upload it on your servers and the others have the same weapons, the players of your server will have to download the mod.
The .ini can be played but not the graphics, i'm sorry

take a look at: .../soldat/mods/'anymod'/weapon.ini (i think) and you can change lots of things, and make some great weapons, i think that you can create a teleporter. It works just changing the values.
You could upload the mod there and put messages on the server, and also we will help you on finishing the mod

Graphical changes to the Soldat client are not transferred to other players. The only way for other players to see your changes is if they download it. This includes weapon names.
However the weapons.ini and realistic_weapons.ini changes can be seen/played on the other players screen when playing on your server. All servers that have changed the weapon settings have a (WM) before their name in the lobby.

well, i have already made grenade launcher from mp5, crossbow from ruger77, some kind a super triple shot weapon from minigun and from m2 a better version of that minigun, um... and i made better looking sniper rifle from barret, scoped m4(no zooming of course) from steyr aug, knife i turned to plasmaknife(well, i wasnt thinking to let it be like it) from desert eagles i made golden desert eagles, and from socom(file named as: "colt1911") i made normal one desert eagle for secondary weapon. i think thats what i have get done for now, these of course have graphics too. but what u meant with that there can do a lot with weapons.ini file? did u even mean that .ini file? sorry for being tricky with these, but i aint so sure about these modding things.

Ok, lets see, the .ini file is where you can 'onfigurate' the weapons, i mean with that: you can change the reload time, the speed, the range... and some other things. If you combine them well, you can get some special things, like the teleporter i said, or a suicide bomb.
Could you show us what you have, pleaase?

well, that DX-5000: Type-XTripleShot shoots 3 red missiles
and that DX-5000:type-X shoots them same rate of fire but longer and hase more ammo.
that Grenade launcer is good weapon in game, ive tested it and that clip is PERFECTLY made! i had to say that. wel, anyway, im going to do more of graphics and then i can show more of them, and maybe i upload my mod
By the way, i looked at ur custom-mod and i think it will be good, hope i could make guns like that :S well, ur good!Â
im running out of ideas, please, more ideas
umm, one thing, forget this isn't mod page, only mod helping! well, i think onle kind of this doesnt hurt anyone
and this is my newest gun i made, this will come as M4 and i think this is better than the other
and is that possible to do something to the amount of distance of weapontext (these 1 - weapon1 and 2 - weapon2)

It looks wayyy to big (it will overlap the text) you can move the weapon name to the side out of the way by putting spaces in front of it in txt/weaponnames but the number will still be there and it will overlap, make it smaller. shading is real nice though for your start ;P good job (but the shape is generally more important, so work on it more)
basically, the scope is to tall and long.

well yeah, first it was too small so i couldnt make it so good and now it is too big
but makinking more of those isnt big problem.
There is another version of my gun, its smaller but way too high. so, is that possible to move texts and images just a little but up or down?
that other is hard to put because its small image, but still way too big.
and there is no reason to put scope on that weapon so i took it off so i can get it a little bit smaller
and there cant even zoom with that "scope"
so there is another without scope. and its smaller of course
and then there is third what i think is the best version.

I really like the first version, that second one is a bit strange
What you should fix is the size of the 1st one, take base on other weapons, and fix the stock.
The body of the weapon is nicely done, and the shading is great!

yeah, that second sucks
i just simply tested other ways to set up targeting system, but that last one is the one i putted, i also have another scope sight weapon but its a bit strange too
i have 2 M4 in my mod now, M4 - sniper(slow shooting, 1 hit to kill opponent) and M4 assault, its that third of those(fast fire rate "6 shots in second", not so powerful, 3-5 hits to kill opponent)
these are so powerful because of its realistic mod
thats the weird scope :S so, do i put that weird scop thing or that first of those three?
then here is other weirdone i just made, its hard to get it look good in that small area any bigger will go over other images or text.

well, this is what i can make to this sized picture, it should be a little bit higher but any pixel more and then it overlaps other pictures. well, not as good as it could be but... i think its fine, for now.
btw, any ideas for over spas-12? now its just simpy super fast shooting shotgun with 10 rounds clip. and anykind of weapon in mind to overwrite LAW and m79?

For spas you could do m4 Super 90
For law, any launcher, Javelin, AT4 or RPG.
And for m79, if you want it balanced make GL09, if not make a Milkor MGL

well, i kinda have already milkor.. that grenade launcer is same kind of, expect it shoots grenades and have 8 rounds clip. that where reads (mp5)
but those dont explode on impact so, i could make on
should i make 6,8, or more rounds to a clip like, 12?
maybe too much :D6 is propably good.

Ok, your weapons are not that bad. Im talking about those lasts.
some critism
-they are too big, they would overlap each other
-dont use just gray shading
-try to make as good shape as possible it makes the weapon look like weapon, adding realism
concetrate the outline at first, its the 1st and the most important thing on making a weapon
-second is shading, as far as I see your shading technique is really good, no pillow shading, no two tones shading, nice and smooth.

lets say, only that first biggest weapon overlaps text but im not using it because its big, these others dont, but there is no space between them, but it dont looks so bad in game, only thing is that in kill console about 1/3 or 1/4 disappears but there can still see what weapon that is. well, try them. just try those images. they wont look so bad in game, only here them look big. everything with resolution 0-55x0-20 dont overlap each other, but no space between but it wont be so bad.(sorry for repeating myself

and if someone could possible tell me how to add scirpts to servers and mods, i havent get answer to this yet. and wich program i am supposed to use there? if there needs any?
