I'm a little surprised that no one has made a topic like this, but that might be because a lot of the people here are under 18.

But for those of you who aren't, did you vote? It doesn't matter you you voted for, but I'd like to get an idea of how many of you took the time to do it.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

What's with the little signs people hold?
I know they really get to me!

I went in to vote for McCain, but I changed my mind soon after after seeing a beautiful black and white Obama '08 sign.

Got up at 9 and waited in line for about 90 minutes. Rained a bit.

Voted for Obama, but it's rather futile in South Carolina which will probably pick a Republican candidate for the next 1000 years.

God forbid I lived in the States, Obama all the way.  McCain is another fucking Bush supporter and frankly I'm sick of this: "OIL IS GOOD AND TURRISTS ARE BAD YEEHAW GO AMURICAH!" crap.  And I don't even live in the States!

Plus I think I think it will be interesting to see an African American president.

Not quite, McCain oppossed most of bush's decision. Although he "supported it", but it was
because they were in the same party, nothing else.

Eitherway, there will be change, no matter who the president is.

"Barack Obama's senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week's election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harboring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve."

Obama is going back on many of his promises, ironically it's after people have already listened to his crap and voted for him. His speech writer already quit writing for him, because she knew he was a bad candidate and he simply makes sexist jokes about the females, and old jokes about McCain. He's run out from many debates when asked questions he was afraid to answer, simply because people would not like his answers. Obama can't get his facts straight on anything other than "Give money to poor people, who are just lazy drug addicts who wont get off their asses."

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," Obama said Wednesday. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded."

Aside from above, Obama also wants to choose a group of people, his choice mind you, to be a sort of "personal army" under his "control."
Anywho...

well if Mccain wins all's well, but if obama wins we're fucked until the next election where everyone jumps ship and becomes a republican again.
