._. Holy crap, I just downloaded this hugeass mappack of like 116+ megs, and looked at the included text file of credits, and, Jesus...it seems like everyone in the old days have mapped or is still mapping.

Here, have the list. Usually, I'd elaborate more on this subject, but my mind has officially blown a fuse.

This map-pack?

It's a shame that out of such a huge list, less than a handful of those mappers are any good.

I really like this mappack. Okay, so I didn't actually look at 99% of the stuff on there, but what I saw was awesome.
Just glancing through it I saw Ivel, Avarax, VTT, Wraithlike, EA, vig, Demonic, The Geologist, MisterCharles, Boxo, chakapoko, the list goes on. Oh and I'm in there too, which makes it all the better.

Good stuff, nice find, even though I have almost all of it already.

Before that mappack, I didn't even have half of the stuff that chakapoko maker did, and I didn't even know about the map where you can put like 15 different mappers' maps into a big grid section...map called the ForumMapping or something like that.

I'm always a little late for everything, and I now acknowledge I'm not even that old of a mapper yet. :(

Thanks for posting this!  Most of my old maps are on a computer which is now the property of a friend of mine in another state, so I'd lost access/names of most of my old maps.

I don't even remember making some of those -_-

To be completely honest, you're not.  As a person, I'm incredibly harsh when it comes to judging things, however, I'm only honest.  The only notable mappers in my opinion are Boxo and Viggoloniggolo.  Even then, both of them have plenty of flawed maps and many that I dislike.

Boxo because his maps are nicely balanced, yet not being symmetrical, most mappers cannot accomplish this.  They're also visually unique and different than other styles.

Viggoloniggolo because his maps have the best gameplay, hands down.  Everything else is the same reason as Boxo.

I'm not saying that you or others are unworthy, I just don't think you can top Boxo and Viggoloniggolo's level.
