Also, on the topic of mode restriced maps, I think this should be an option. As a client side control : withing the votemap GUI, a checkbox to show/hide mode maps. Viewing non-mode map will only work if the server hasnt restricted them. If thes erver has restricted them, this checkbox wont show.As a server side control : option for mode restricted set to true, players can only scroll/vote through maps of that mode. This option will always override the client option. If this is set to false, then the player has the discretion.
I don't think case matters, any way, the point is that there are better ways to use votemap, the [ESC] votemap is pretty much just a s**tty front end.
I find it annoying that when trying to change maps, it defaults to Airpirates, and you have to go through about half the maps with the left/right arrows to get to any ctf_ maps, let alone the one you want. That these maps are even available when selecting a map is kind of annoying. Also: why, when selecting a user/map in the vote dialog, does it not accept input for a bit when you die?Just my $0.02
This used to not be the case. When you wanted to vote for a map, you could only vote for a map that supported that current gamemode. This was changed in 1.2.1. for whatever reason.
I don't think case matters,
You should already know what map you want when you're going to make a vote.
The command function has a restriction - You must know EXACTLY what you want.
