Okay, bear with me on this. I want it so you can throw the saw, and it can do some damage, saws take time to slow down after you let go of the trigger, so maybe the longer it is away from you, the less and less it does damage. And seeing as Saws are heavy, they shouldn't be able to be thrown as far. Just a wild idea I came up with in Sawwars.

I kinda like how the saw is such a basic weapon. People usually only wield it for fun, not for serious business, which makes it pretty unique. I'm not for this change.

What advantage would knife have then.

well, it would make the knife then almost useless, but thinking that the saw can pierce multiple enemies when you throw it at them just makes me happy

Not really, the saw would do, at first, about 1/3 of the damage the knife dishes out, and then quickly drops. Plus, it would have a really short distance that it could be thrown.

ow, you mean it would fly like when a wep is thrown and a bit stronger and it will pierce all in front of it?

otherwise, the knife damage is

if it doesnt pierce multiple enemies (leas 3 of them) is this an idiotic suggestion, cause there is no use for this as it is as effective as going on an enemy with knife and, trying to stab him, and he has mp/ak/aug/almost any other wep

i would recommend it would fly the half way of an nade, and it could be as the arrow, also piercing coliders

Not useful at all. Also i don't want flying saws everywhere. Saw is close combat weapon, not like knife.

Ayayaya! Throw the saw in the face of your opponent, haha that is funny. But I mean, why not?..You can weild the knife and kill with holding it, and kill with throwing it.

Well then, if you apply it to something big as saw, you should do the same with other weapons, i mean, you should then be able to throw the other guns against your enemy with short damage and throw. Either way, i like it as it is. F11 on this one.

Not useful, F11...the knife will be just useless to say why would you want to throw your saw anyways?

I'm not sure.... But I do like the idea. Maybe since the Saw is heavier, we can make it a lot shorter distance for throwing?

Its nice that you want the saw to be more used.
But I dont think making saw more similar to knife is the way to do it.

Being able to throw saw like knife is a dream of every saw-user. D:
But unfortunately it just doesn't suit the style of that weapon, not to mention balance issues.

I really hope that some day this would be possible at least via modding. But as a default soldat feature - no.

Hell no, it completely ruins the Saw, and it'd also make the knife useless.

...although I'd like to be able to mod an actual Chainsaw Rocket - whereby the missile fired is a chainsaw which saws through everything without losing speed or damage until it hits a poly or collider - and cannot ricochet. It's only way of losing speed is to let it fly over time.

make saw throwing ineffecting too...like only top point of saw 'd kill if thrown..

I'd like to see a saw power up...like when you switch to the saw, the soldat dude like does the chainsaw action were he pulls the chainsaw string/or whatever it is back to start the chainsaw...that would make it cool as!

yeah, let's make saw take forever to start up so that it's even more underpowered
