I, being an INF fan for years, must begrudgingly admit that CTF is the most preferred game mode.

As a side note, Steaker and Chef posted in the Fracs forums about some of Love getting together to play. It would be great for the clan to come back, I have to say.

Well I'd be really surprised if INF was in the first place, but it's second and that still surprises me. I support INF, but I didn't expect to see so many other INF fans.

All the Infiltration servers empty nearly every time I check... if only more people would start playing it. I'd sit alone in a server for a couple minutes, but nobody shows up.

INF isn't as popular because it isn't as competitive and it's slower paced.

If you play a CTF CW, it will last 20-30 minutes (2-3 maps). If you play an INF CW, it'll last much longer. 10 minutes for each side on offense/defense (20 minutes if 10 min. per map), which could take up to 60 minutes total if you play a tiebreaker (best 2/3).

If there were more then 1 or 2 active INF clans, I'd probably play it more. But honestly, how many active INF clans do you see besides A*|? Not many if any at all. CTF has K2, R7, tba, vX, utd, R-, and the list just goes on.

HTF is my personal favorite. It's very fast paced and non-linear.

It's a shame that TDM isn't more popular really. IMO, it's far the funniest gamemode.

I guess inf isn't really popular because the game mode is really unfair but you'd get use to it if you came and played a few days.

The problem is, (no offense to NOBODY) most people come into a server, see it's uneven, and they're either too lazy, or too obsessed with winning to try and adapt to it, so they leave for CTF, and no one can change that issue.

The reason I don't play INF is because without proper and smooth poly placement and level design, it becomes a fragfest. The main problems with the whole "Infiltrate the enemy base" concept is the huge height advantage that the defenders get. Lots of the defalut infiltration maps don't have enough entrances to the enemy base, and the existing ones are way too narrow to move quickly through and not get caught on a poly.

Yea, agreed. I play a bit of INF every now and then, but my main game style is CTF.
