Hey.
Does someone remember the soldatforums mod?

I would like to try again, I just need some people to make the weapons.
If you wanna cooperate post the weapon that you would like to make.

 I'm taking the ruger if there is enough people to do it

Minimi, I contribute later when I have time.

Set max allowed size of weapons for all contributors. I think 60x16 will be ok. To evade overlapping (or too small weapons) and to preserve more unified theme with different styles.

btw. the ingame ones should be included or? (id prefer that one)

edit: i was bored some time ago, and i made gosteks that are based on espadons artwork, but they arent the best ones, and the ranny folder is unmodified

if someone wants he can modify it to some better ones
best used with gray color

HK brings up a very good point; I think having a height restriction will be a good way to keep the guns from fighting with each other.

For those who are gonna make some weapon:

You should make folders for each

[name of the weapon + slot]
  - Interface/guns [interface graphics]
  - weapons-gfx [ingame graphics]
  - Sfx [ingame sfx]
  - .ini of the weapon

I'm thinking on making a m16 for ruger ;P will it be ok?

It would but with ACOG or from NAM era (the one with scope on carry handle). Or maybe some SPR, DMR, SAM-R?

Yea, burst so bad that EnEsCe don't want to make adds in weap.ini... Balanced? It's same weapon with just a lil bit outlook changes (in real the barrel is different so you can make SPR little more accurate) but nothing more.

I would like you to work on the weapons, so with the help of the comunity to make them better.

The idea that you gave Espadon, was great, that about making the most 'famous' weapons, but where are those?

That's actually very good idea, but I never saw Sexy Shooter in action. Anybody still have this somewhere on HD?

I wanted make kind of spikegun but if this need to be SF-related, then I think about more specific from my old weapons...

Try get similiar shape from that. If this is a dagger, for sword make longer edge to 3~4pix and bigger up to 2pix in height. If you making broadsword, increase the hilt in height also, and connect closer to edge.

No offence -Sky- but better stay with Paint ;D. I still use PS only for fires and all that stuff (on what I'm becoming better).

If you wanna make it with antil-aliasing better get Paint made gun and change some things on it with PS, it easier for begining imo.

Sorta made up a weapon.  When I got done with the main sections of it, I looked up some shotgun stuff, and found a real one kinda similar to my overall design, so I added some extra stuff.

I'm just using it as my AK-74 right now, but it can be whatever the hell you want it to be.  Suppose to be a take-off of some shotgun.  And yes, has some vague resemblance to a drum magazine (hopefully).

I know nothing about guns, so I'm just going on a limb with this one:

Is there a weapon mod setting for it as well? If yes, I'd suggest a McMillan TAC-50 for a Barrett. Otherwise, a SR-25 or a Dragunov SVD.

FN Minimi could be changed to a M240 Machine Gun. Alternatively, a MG42.

I think that you are not taking it STM...
I don't think that there should be a configuration but if there is so much people we could do it. And the mod it's supposed to be 'any member makes any weapon' if those ones are ideas ok.

I really expected something better. It sucks completely. Gosteks especially.

I think your AK is nice, but that's probably not the type of comment you're looking for..

Made the "AA-12" a little larger, and add weapon-gfx with corresponding weapon.ini's.  The gun isn't too fantastic.. I suppose I could take the time to make it look somewhat nicer.

Edit:

Took more time on it. Still new to anti-aliasing, er whatever it's called, so the barrel looks a little off.. Looked kinda terrible without it though.

To be honest, it's...not that great. The shape is okay, but I think you were better at shading when you used MS paint.

I have to add some contrast to the shading, but I cannot find the correct colours

AA12 is great, maybe the stock should be more rounded at the end

Do you have the permisions or you just took the weapons?
