Further refining the basic color blocks. nest step would be to get the BG shapes clearer and to map out some lighting stuff before I tackle the water that's supposed to be flying around as this thing emerges.

The harsh blue is going to be like a dock lighted with those mercury-vapor lamps; the background will be a nighttime city skyline and the mech [with arms folded up into its torso] is rising up out of the water.

So...explanation. There's this really old easytoon animation about a stick figure trying and failing to break down a wall. It's great. But every time someone starts using easytoon, they'll make a clone of it. Without fail.

Smiluu's theme is very interesting. While it is obviously focused on a darker perspective, the sinister grin on the character's face seems to say otherwise.

No offence PCW, but I don't like your style or imagery. There is some skill needed to do it though.
