Except for the decapitated corpses, I love the atmosphere.
You should've added a bit more yellow highlights from the flames though.

Protip: before you click "Post" click "Preview", look at your post, wait, look at your post again, think about the common sense, if you still think it has it go away from PC(if you have nothing to do just go outside and take a short walk), look at your post searching for common sense again.

it's more interesting that way

@smiluu: Awesome atmosphere in that corridor.
That one headpiece must have flew a long way, because I can't see any body being a part of it. I also got to have that big two headed axe!

Quote
Isolated from the rest of Humanity, the Sovereignty developed along different tech. The pod mech was an attempt to create a "universal mech" capable of fulfilling mechanized battle roles in all environments. To allow such a high degree of battlefield independence, the Akula was the first to be completely propelled by field-induction arrays. The superior maneuverability comes at the cost of an unimpressive maximum speed of mach 1.8 on a dive. Despite vectoring drive arrays [mounted in ball sockets], atmospheric flight requires constant shifting between lift phase, where the 'wings' are oriented upwards, and a thrust phase, giving the Akula a unique flight pattern, similar to that of a sparrow.

Depicted is an Akula III; this iteration has a chisel-like nose suited for ramming enemy craft and breaching walls. Before any ramming attempt, the front gimbal retracts into the "mouth," which closes.

Like most Sovereignty armor and vehicles, the Akula is stealthy, but does not possess active camouflage [in contrast to URSYN which makes common use of 'cloaking' systems].

----------------------------------

I had wanted to make the Akula more whale-like and so gave it a more streamlined but stockier build. Overall I felt it should look more like a pack-hunting predator, like orcas.
This particular unit is dressed in urban camo and bears House Spaeta insignia.

Espadon, your drawings are awesome, but what are they from? Someone mentioned Guild Wars earlier. That it? What is it if so.

All of it is original property unless I specifically note it as fanart.

Guild Wars is an old f2p MMO if that's what you were asking.

I've been attempting drawing for about 4 months now, never even had a desire to draw until then.

People always say this to digital artists who have the speedpainting style. No offense to you Espadon, you've got a lot of skill.

I'ma gonna post some more photographs here and there, this thread needs more variety. Click for big.

No. I'd like to, someday.

Leftover shading from the sketch. I just laid some colors under the scanned lines so I'd get an idea of how stuff would look.
