ah, so are you going to be the one making a full mod with vector graphics?

Yes.

This should be interesting to see.

I doubt that combining vector and pixel graphics would be a good idea. They are processed differently and it might require massive change in game engine.
Personally, I think it's best to stick to pixel graphics for most elements, only higher resolution.

what?! vector gfx?! HELL no!
the gfx would SUCK tremendously
why use a pixelstretch-independent scaling feature?!  that'd make it look worse than 4-bit color soldat!
totally f11 110%

not worth it. I for one, wouldn't want to waste loads of hours to make like 20-30 people happy.

I'd live SVG support for cursor, interface and gostek. Am I asking for too much?

This thread is asking for Soldat to support the .SVG image type for the crosshair. The crosshair gets enlarged because of bink and this stretches the image, slightly distorting it. Letting you use the SVG image type for it allows you to use images that do not distort as they are stretched, making the enlargement due to bink seamless and look pretty.
There are other worlds than these

Well just the crosshair then. That's a fair enough update I think. Vectoring gosteks/interface etc. Would be a chore. crosshair please.
