Re-Modeling your gostek
« on: May 21, 2009, 03:57:23 pm »
I've just tried to change my gostek and didn't like it, and just wanted to know if there's any easy way (Other than re-installing soldat) to change the gosteks back to normal settings. (Normal hairstyles\clothes\accessories\etc...)
Thanks for your time.

Other than finding a site with default gosteks or re-downloading soldat I don't think so (There is no Restore button if that's what you wanted).

Rather a single individual file of the gosteks maybe...

I don't know of any links to get soldat default gosteks

And also I think you put this thread in the wrong section....

http://files.filefront.com/Gostek+gfxzip/;7109915;/fileinfo.html

This is it, unless the original has changed since 2005.

I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.

It asked me for a password or the encrypted file, do you have it?

well, this is what i do for soldat modding wheter be it gosteks or weapons.

Reinstall soldat first, then backup the files(gostek-gfx, weapons-gfx, etc etc)  into a seperate folder

1.create a modding folder( lets name it 'Gostek Test')
2.place whatever modification you've done inside that folder.
3.move 'Gostek Test' into the mod folder of your soldat directory e.g 'C:/Soldat/mods', that way, you could test your mod(using the mod launcher programe) without having to reinstall soldat.

I recommend to have a copy of original soldat into a .zip you can unzip at anytime if you screw something up.

Ok y'all, thanks for everything, it's all fixed, and I got back ups and everything just in case, I appreciate it.
I'll have an admin lock this unless there's nothing more to be added by tomorrow.
