Righteous Rampage is too serious if you want go fruity, Magical Mayhem is good for serious and fruity at the same time. Jus consider how much this mod has magic or swords. Also if this is closer to medieval gothic or heroic fantasy.

It's heroic fantasy.

It is unadhamably based on Warhammer mixed with Castle Crashers.

"The Magical Medieval Mosh"

and DarkCrusade, I'll look into them.

Thunk yew.

It's nice so far, weapons looking like cell-shaded, just need more shading and you will get polygon like 3-D effect. Good design and idea.

I will shade them some more, but cellshading is nice and cartoony.

Zomg. I love it! This mod will be awesome, I can pheell it. The boiling oil looks really good. Maybe you could throw in some black somewhere cause its all fiery, a bit hard to tell its oil.

Great job with the weapons, I think they are a good choice, and I really love the comic'ish style

Yes it is, Thunks

From: February 11, 2010, 09:02:17 am
DarkCrusade, I used your firestorm explosion then cartooned it up, you'll get credits, MattH, all weapons barring the ram crossbow were originally yours, you get credits too.

All help is welcome and appreciated.

First post overhaul coming soon (far sexier layout and probably some new pics)

awesome progress coming along mate, keep it up :)

oh an just a suggestion, the pike can be used as the chainsaw, while the sword- knife

As for gosteks, i could try doing a more cartoony version of my knights .I might give them a much more bulky body for fantasy style armor.

Blood effects could be removed because of the overall fruity-ness of this mod... Fairy dust as a replacement maybe? xD

If this is family mod it's supposed to be green blood like they did in Doom RPG.

IMO, Green blood won't fit in this since its a very cartoonish mod. I woud'nt want to see enemies blow up in greenish goo in a mod like this :S  Green blood fits more for sci-fi style mods, since lets face it, aliens/mutants and stuff liek that bleed blood other than red.

I'd rather see fairy dust(just like in 'The Golden Compass' where a character's demon dies by disintegrating into dust.)

It's still blood, but it's really bright and bubbly, it fits the game.

But that's subject to change...

awesome progress coming along mate, keep it up :)

YES. I officially fail at gosteks and weapons-gfx.

Officially. I've been trying to line up weapons and I just gave up. I'll finish the interface (which is being worked on!) and the weapons interface and then three maps it'll be released with then I'll owrry about the weapons-gfx.

Also, boiling oil is now black. I was considering making it boiling soup but nah...
