I don´t get why you get kicked for being teamkilled at all. I vote those gaylords who just throw a nade here and there without any real effect (just hurting your team).

Hurting? Nade in bushes means insta-kill. (; I hate those who do it on pupose, though.

Well, there are different situations.

1) If you were killing yourself with ally's grenades on purpose constantly, your dumb action will obviously be justified with vote kick.

2) Your ally knows that random grenade throw in his location is seriously useless, but he does it anyways. Unfortunately, you stepped on it and got your body part under the belt-line blown up. That can have an argument about does your perp or you deserve punishment. Sadly, it ends with just simple dickery until someone leaves.

Sadly, team killing will always be a part of many games. The way around is play smart, stay away from idiots, and use the vote-kick function when needed.

If you like to drive people up the wall and you are really uncaring to others opinions and insults - it can be funny.

ok, one idea from other multiplayer games: reduce the damage to your teamates to 50%, is it possible in Soldat? script, yea, of course :P not EnEsCe nor even MM dont want to change anything in soldat anymore... only "bug fixing", yea sure

so is it possible? i have a feeling that it was already made for some time ago...

Nope, if they do it to me, I'ma kill their ass. And I'm seriously not joking. I will kill them for every round for as long as they are in the server, even if they change teams I will pursue them until I achieve what I want.

That's not a game of Soldat anymore. It's a senseless game of revenge. I got the impression that's the only reason you play games with FF on.

You know, I have an idea for friendly firing. If the player shoots his own team mate, the crosshair will go upwards all sudden, so you can't kill your team mate fast, and lose your health either 50% or 100% of what your team mate lost.

Very interesting idea, but it has its downsides. What if you hit your teammate accidentally, with just one bullet? I dont think a simple mistake like that deserves this kind of punishment. But perhaps the effect can be small at first, but will increase the more you shoot your teammate.

ok, one idea: reduce the damage to your teamates to 50% permanently, is it possible in Soldat?
