I never understood how people play Sonic. When you accelerate to top speed there's almost no time to react to all the spikes, enemies and other stuff on the screen. :X

Sonic is for pros.

I liked it. Played old versions and a bit newer with 3D.

Cortex command is awesome game but needs work the movement is the main problem you walk and the body falls flying is weird and and...
(and it cant be played via internet)

Indeed. The game punishes you for trying to go fast. You have to slow down and traverse the levels like a regular platformer. But it has pretty weak platforming elements. And after the Green Hill Zone the graphics go down the toilet.

However, a good platformer on the Genesis/Mega Drive was Ristar. I've played it for the last few days and it's a hoot. And it's got what most modern games are missing these days... bright colorful graphics!
