Yes of course it's free! Basically it's just a website&program combo which records all the songs you listen. Only thing you have to pay is the radio. Dunnu really what it is since I never use it hehe.

Been using it for more than 3 years already. It's more like a memento to me, I only use it to keep a statistic of all the music i've been listening to. There's a ton of other features, most of which I don't use due to not being very sociable. :P
It's also a great tool for finding new artists and music you'd like.

Radio is a neat feature. You can listen to a collection of your own tracks online, what your friends like or listen to music similar to your favorite artist. Unfortunately though, since a few months ago the radio is only free to US, Japan and some other countries. :/ You can still listen to track previews though.

jrgp, 161 artists for over 17000 listened songs is horrible. read punknews or pitchfork or whatever, because some of the good stuff (like dinosaur jr. portugal the man and dawid bowie etc) simply sinks between all the shit you litter your mind with (NICKELBACK you gotta be fucking kidding me)

Demonic, fantastic variety. I appreciate the sheer number of artists you have. I like the genres in general. Punk and Post Hardcore stuff. Also a lot of stuff I haven't heard, so I can't give a very accurate evaluation. I'm inclined to trust your tastes though.

Wraithlike. The only artist from your list I recognized is Radiohead, so can't really comment much. :D Listened to some of your (and everyone else's here) top tracks, but unfortunately this isn't exactly my style. :/
It seems I'm the only ambient-lover here. :S
