i think i figured it out
it's just a very very weird system, i apparently can't listen to my favorites and there is no way to place a specific song, that's still dumb.

the whole point of last.fm is that it plays like an FM radio...

you can always subscribe so you have all the features, or just use ur itunes/winamp/whatever u have instead if you really just wanted to listen to ur stuff

the whole point is to find new artists
