When the sun will explode, a supernova and our plannet will be also destroyed. Don't worry you'll be on heaven watching
Pretty much that. Chances are it all boils down to the lifespan of the sun. Which is well, well beyond any of our natural lifespans, so don't sweat it. 2nd most likely version is probably the nuclear war one. I suppose the whole 2012 scenario is possible in the same way that I could suddenly grow a third arm.

Volcanic eruptions have caused the last 3-4 major extinctions on earth. That's meant to be every 100 million years or so. Although we've only been around 10,000 years, So who knows. A major volcanic eruption might happen every 20,000 years, and scientists are just stupid. Or maybe there never was a volcanic eruption. Maybe suns don't really explode. Anything related to science is just theories.

I'd prefer to discuss, 'let's say, humans exist 50,000 years from now. With no major extinctions, what would we be like'!

We wouldn't just be evolved in technology. We would have evolved our selves. If you've studied Biology or something; then you would assumed anything. Chances are, we would be able to see in the dark, communicate through our minds, breathe under water.... maybe even grow wings and fly.

The fact that we all started off and tiny molecules, and evolved into this, means anything is possibly. All it takes, is to spend enough time in a certain environment; and if that certain evolution would make us benefit, or survive better; then chances are it's going to happen.

It's safe to say we ARE eventually going to evolve. But it's impossible to know when mankind will fade away into p00.

Lol as long as we have the concept of equality and humanitarianism, Humans aren't going to evolve physiologically.

Humans are getting more and more stupid with every passing generation. Sure, there are a few smart guys around but for the most part we're retards.

See in the dark - night vision goggles
Communicate through our minds - One can debate on tools that can do such a thing
Breathe under water - Snorkel or scuba-diving tank

By the way, I didn't evolve from a monkey. The end.

So you're saying that, for example, inquisitors who tortured innocent people for "using magic" are smarter than us?
Sure there are a lot of idiots around, but still, we're getting smarter. And perhaps what is considered "smart" now will be the peak of stupidity in a few hundred years.

Zombie apocalypse, ending with me (and some of my friends) in a last stand against an army of mindless zombies, armed with chainsaws, shotguns a Vulcan mini gun, several hundred grenades and other explosive devices.

Yep, that maybe the end of the world, but hell its going to be fun....

I'd shoot you in that scenario then run off to the woods with Christian.

I think that you are flaming. Either that or (pause here) well I don't really know.
Humans have probably been around for 100-200,000 years, with human-like animals being around long before that. Humans have already suffered and survived a supervolcano going off, and then some more. We know that stars eventually die because we've seen it happen many times. Scientific theories are based on experiments. Saying something is "just a theory" is like saying that gravity is "just a theory, we might start flying any time now." Oh hell you even went there.
And I'm not even going to start on what you said about evolution.

Hey, evolution is garbage. But hell, anti-evolutionism doesn't mean that it all turns to religion, sheesh.

Assuming earth is the only place in the universe to sustain human life, most of us will die from overpopulation at some stage and we'll start over.  unless of course we have cyborgs and stuff, they can go fuck off and live in space. :/

Imo we will all die because of air/water pollution, radiation after nuke-war etc(there won't be a big end)

I'm willing to bet that humans, as a species, will leave this planet before there's any real "end", and this is because natural disasters will become too fierce and too frequent for us to put up with. What's the point of living here if the Earth itself is slowly wiping us out?

Also, the sun will not explode; it'll turn into a red giant and partially or fully engulf Earth. Sucks for us either way, but yeah.

Fourth-stage Sol will only expand to consume Mercury and perhaps Venus. Earth won't be close enough to get swallowed, the last time I read about it.

And overpopulation is a way bigger issue than the sun.

Aye, I agree. Like I said, we'll either be extinct by then or we'll have switched planets. Either way, we won't be on Earth in 4 billion years.
