Yo everybody. I have a little question. Which, in your opinion, version of Soldat is better? 1.4.2 or 1.5.0? Maybe 0.9.4b?? For me 1.4.2 is better coz in 1.5.0 i don't see my stats in deathmatch

My favorite was 1.4. For right now, 1.5 didn't show that much of a significant improvement. I don't see that much gif. works in maps; and there are very few who chat on soldat ~_~

I like the newest few. That's mostly 'cause I love scripting and they've been the best for that.

Agreed. I guess Soldat was at it's best back then, if not at 1.2/1.2.1 already. Though 1.3 and 1.3.1 were plagued with cheaters.

1.4.1 - probably most STABLE version of soldat

1.3.1, that's the version I started in. I cant remember much except that Airpirates was way cooler back then, hated the 1.4.2 version -.-

But about 95% of my soldat life was lived in 1.4.2 so meh.

1.3 had more modding freedom (excepting for png and just one ini) but 1.5.1 is also nice.

1.4.2 Perhaps, because of many new neat and useful features like custom resolutions, minimap and new bullet graphics. It looked more finished comparing to 1.5.

I don't understand why so many of you like 1.2.1.
No barrett startup time? No backflips? No custom resolutions? Constant teamstacking? What's so good about that?
