I clicked the link expecting to hear something awful, and I found myself kind of liking it. Is that bad? =P

The NewGrounds songs is pretty good too, though, just for the record. Maybe I just like all electronic music?

The main horn thing (I'm no musician) was annoying it sounded like it was aimlessly wandering.

I'm okay with the beat or whatever you call it, there's that rhythm, but I don't like the voice and one of the instruments used - that's my reason of dislike. Not too good, not too bad, but overall, not appealing.

I think individual elements were alright, but they really didn't fit together very well. It felt like it was trying to do everything at once.

Typical techno track - funky beats and beeps, weird deep voice. There isn't much feeling and style, just a typical not-so-great track, one of millions out there.
But that's just my opinion. I love techno, trance and electronic, but not the crazy-clubby-parteh kinds of tracks.

Try these:

Eh, I think trance is different from the track scarface linked to. Trance is uh.. more fast and serene at the same time. And there's much more feeling in it than in techno.
Examples:
Mark Otten - So Serene (Menno De Jong Mix)
Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise Remix)

DJ Tiesto has great trance music mixes (google "In Search of Sunrise").

I'm more of a Goa/Psytrance kind of person, but this song is catchy. Not the best I've heard, but it's decent.

Sigh...I wish techno artists would stop using the same, identically sounding female vocalists for all of their music. And I wish that Benny Benassi would learn that not all of his songs need to use the same background beat.

This is a nice song in my opinion cuz it's playful and not very repetitive.
