Uumh I got a star beside my name ingame, but my key from the original email from MM doesnt work to activate that premium thingy. "unable to find that registration key"

I don't understand everyone's frustrations. I feel like soldat has upgraded hugely with the built-in portal system (although i don't see where that's going, but we'll see) (and i don't see people's problems cuz you can auto login and pretty much never have to worry about it thereafter). I haven't gotten any FPS errors or other problems, and to me, the netcode absolutely does not seem worse than previous versions. I don't see how you can fix the "netcode" if the problem is that people have slow connections.  i generally join servers <100 ping and everything rolls fine. i like the new built-in updater too.

I just whish for retards like this one to get permanently banned from everything and have a horrible life.

just because you don't have fps problems doesn't mean it doesn't exist...


also, now with these great new updates, it isn't even playable, 5 sec freezes combined with 3-4 fps isn't very enjoying. MAYBE MAKE THE GAME WORK IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO TEST IT.

It still says I need to register to use the protect feature. It says it on the profile screen I'm registered and I have access to all other features. New patch applied and running 1.5.1.2

Because your account is not premium. You need to bind your registration key to the account.

Ahhh excellent thank you, mistook that for account activation. This will be great for weening out illegal keys.

EDIT:Just registered on Portal. I don't like it. And theres no sound in game. When I change from join game to anything else repeatedly it ses logging in to often.

Any other way to create a log on? For some reason, when I click create an account, a blank screen comes up. Just wondering if there's a website or something else I can create an account in.

Exact same problem here. When I hit "refresh" it only takes me to the Soldat Portal start-page.

EDIT: It works now, I guess it was just a problem with the embedded Internet-Explorer-Thingie.

I also get the info page for Soldat Portal when I press "refresh". Then I click on " Create your Soldat Portal account now"...which gives me another blank page.

I use Windows 2000, and IE 7 and 8 aren't able to be installed.. So when this autoupdater opens, nothing happens. I've looked around the forum but can't find if you have the updates on your site or not.

Any site I can go to to download the updates?

I figured out if using IE6 / Windows 2000 (which requires 6) you can still update if you use Soldat smallscreen. Maybe put some kind of warning into the update window before you hit Yes or Later so that people know they must use smallscreen? (unless of course you can fix it)

From: November 15, 2009, 02:38:09 pmI got the update, but then my FPS was really really low again, and I had to go to http://update.thd.vg/soldat/cl/1510/Soldat.exe and replace my soldat.exe with that for my FPS to be stable.. AGAIN.

So, enesce's updates are making it worse apparently.

Well after playing the old fugly version of b2b for like 5 years this new sparkling one really surprised me.

B2b is something I liked too. I enjoyed the old one aswell.
Cant decide which is better of them, since the new one is actually awesome and plays well, but I will miss the old one since its one of my favorite maps.

...hell, I even miss the ultra old summer time b2b. : C

Another good new map is the lanubya, however its so different from the original that If I would decide, i'd make it a new map and call it Lanubya2 and keep the old one.

As in, overpowered? I noticed a great deal of players have been using spas widely during 1.5.0 and I saw it quite effective myself aswell.

I dont think over powered is the problem. But when you can fire round after round without having to stop to reload (because its reloading as it fires)... Its a slight advantage. And to be honest with you i have used it in certain situations just for that reason. And that does in fact give it a slight unfair advantage.

I also wanna say that I like the feel of the new maps. it makes soldat look like a better put-together game.
it's like playing a polygon space shooter VS a graphically enhanced version - same gameplay, but it just looks better with great graphics.

Finally realistic got some nice additions. Congratulation. You did a freakin' nice job. THUMB UP

EDIT: after readin' some pages I found many unsatisfied people with lags and others, I have to agree that the netcode is probably the most wanted fix but it's still a Beta so I guess people should be glad we got a lot of fixed things. It's free game and Enesce is doing this just in his free time. You should be thankful.
