Customizable respawn protection time.

I think that topic says clearly what this poll is about.
If not then I'll explain it a bit.
Respawn protection time is time when you are immortal after spawning in map. What I'm up to is possibility to change its duration. Vote'n'discuss.

I don't think it's something that needs that much customisation. It should be increased a slight bit, but customisable - nah.
Besides, there are team-collide polygons now.

That, however, depends on the map. And what you're suggesting sounds like a server setting, which would affect all maps. Not everyone knows what setting would be the best. Some might set it too low or too high. That's why I think customization isn't a good thing in this case.

If it was implemented in maps - it would be mappers' responsibility to pick the right respawn time. Again, there's no guarantee that mapper makes the right decision and doesn't set it too high/low.

Basically, it just gives more room for mistakes. :/

Good point, but there aren't that many things to improve there. IMHO best would be to improve whatever needs to be improved, and leave it at that.
If someone needs to change respawn time that badly - scripts for that already exist.

Mappers do always the wrong decisions.

1 second may be enough for some maps, but not as ctf_Ash.... You're f**ked when opponents start to spawn kill.

Hmm, what would happen if bullets only collide polys were placed over the spawn, in a small area, to help reduce spawning, I think it would work, but might cause some prob's on maps like Ash, unless you could use the team only polys.
