The new version of the map: ctf_cs_transport2
-Fixed an irregular polygons
-Fixed an outgrowth of the tree (the pot was added to krzaczka)
-Fixed bounce
-Fixed a protruding part of the polygon
-Fixed crashes gostka the ranges

-Changed the weather, now it is cloudy and raining
-Changed the amount of fuel

-Added a few new elements
-Added a few elements of aesthetics
-Added the weather-now it is raining
-Blocked passage of a car in the parking lot on the left

-removed unnecessary polygons
-removed unnecessary scenegry
-removed unnecessary Coilers

At least add some shading to the few visible polys... Other than that: Maps aren't just scenerys scrapped together and polygons connecting unrelated scenes, maybe try thinking about a layout first, one that's actually playable.
Could talk worse about you're map, but seems to be one of your first. Anyway try improving layout and shading, else kill it with fire.

Actually there was one before that and it was much much worse. This one however doesn't seem all that bad.
There actually is some kind of theme, and sceneries don't look completely random and out of place. Layout is a bit weird (especially the mountain of crates) - it's not good for team games because it's very unbalanced, but might be playable in deathmatch.
However you made the same mistake with one of your other maps - too many colliders in places where they shouldn't be. Car's wheels.. why does one car have colliders and another one doesn't? Why should it have colliders anyway? I would never expect car wheels and a tiny spot on water tower to have colliders.

My advice is simple: use colliders only on crates and barrels. Nothing else.

Scenery-gfx zip is 73mb and is hosted on a site where it takes me half an hour to download it.. Are those all sceneries from this map? Or there's something more?

dominikk, you need to use forum's attachments instead of some polish site. It would be much faster and easier for people to download your map. And you don't need to host ALL of your sceneries. Host only sceneries that you used in THIS map.

Haha agreed.

Remember that smooth gameplay is enjoyable. A good, competitive Soldat map produces ballet-like gameplay. This looks like a geometry quiz.

Don´t create the layout of a map by scenery that is being set on the map. First of all get the layout by polygons, the scenery is secondary.

Major suggestions:

1) No one will ever see those clouds, remove them or lower the opacity, set them to background and move them somewhere players can actually see them.

2) The scenery object of your name is distracting players. I suggest to remove the two objects.

3) The map is very unbalanced because of this crate tower. While one team has much cover the other team has too less. Try to think about tactics that could be used and about attack and defense when creating a map.

I added a little kerosene. Helicopter was carrying goods which may campic red. And the more the tree is a place to hide now, is closer to red! The clouds are below!

This is CS map. It doesn't have to be balanced. I dislike CS/De maps anyway. It's soldat not goddamn CS.

CS is just the mapping style, it has nothing to do with the actual game other than the general map themes. Stop being stupid

This is one of my favourite maps. Unfortunately I will have already forgotten it's name, lack of adequacy, unplayability, hideousness, complete and utter failure and existence in a minute or so. The fact that there are trees growing on containers is not bad, an infinite row of street lights lit up in mid day is also quite normal. The only thing that concerns me is the helicopter, I think you should have put a tank in stead of that car and boxes on the elevated platform. You're improving. You're already better than getting dissolved in acid alive.



Seriously, what the f**k is going on here?

Seriously, if you want to map so hard and want to improve, then make multiple maps. Not updating one over and over again. And try some non r/s stuff.
