User name change

Greetings

When I registered on this forum, I made a spell mistake when filling the form:

I choose "Bistoufy" as user name. But what I would have wanted for user name is
"Bistoufly"

I didn't see an option in the user control pannel to change it.
So how to go about it? Make a new account? Or could a mod or admin change it for me?

I'll fix it (it requires a manual change in LDAP and SQL).  If you can't login afterwards you may be required to reset your password.  If you have issues, e-mail me at ryan@u13.net.  If you can login fine, post back here to say so.

Long ago I wanted to change my nickname from L[0ne]R to L[one]R, but my request was rejected.

If possible, I'd like to have my name fixed too. But if not - I understand.

Even i wanted my nick to be changed...my current forum nick is long and hard to remember. I want to delete this "[SIRS]" and "2012" because this movie was too freaking epic (looking at the land with lava and volcanoes: umm...what the hell is this? yyy...hawaii) and i dont want now to have this tag on my nick.

Haha, sorry, Fox. Even if I wanted to, I don't have the power to change forum names. Only admins have that authority. Have you tried asking jrgp? Generally we don't change names for anyone, but he may be willing to make an exception.

When the forum would allow to use e-mail adresses twice, and not only once, it would be much easier.
But I do not really want to create a new e-mail adress just for this forum.

I asked jrgp and eC long time ago to change my nick to Swompie, because i do no longer use yourdeath as nick any longer anywhere. But wheres the problem in changing it? It can not be that much work.

Why do you care? Your friends know who you are so it doesn´t matter, right? Also your personal text says that you are Swompie.

Make a signature with you current gamename in it. Or make a new account with a personal text saying "formerly y0uRd34th". You wouldn't be the first

well yeah, but cuz this forum does not allow to use e-mails twice and i do not really want to create a new just for here (like i said in my post above). Also I can no one remember who did not know that i changed my name to Swompie. Anyone knows me as it, thats why i want mainly to change the nick. (I know I can put my new name into signature, but it doesnt look to have a signature like "aka Swompie. text, blah blah.. [picture]" or sth like that :p)
