I got my February issue of Game Informer today and they had a great deal of info on the upcoming Halo: Reach. Its said to be a prequel to the Halo series. Has anyone thought about making a mod of it yet? More info can be found at www.bungie.net/Projects/Reach/default.aspx . The few new characters are awesome. Most o the weapons have been re done and look awesome. Nice possibilitys for Gosteks as well. So? Anyone?

I can help, although, Im only good with the weapons.ini files though :-\ ...

Yeah. I was thinking about making a Halo complete saga but when i heard of HLT, i quit. However, after hearing HLT stopped I went at it again but when I was making the weapons, it sucked so I quit. :( Anyways, I can still help. Just tell me what weapons you want on the mod and I'll see if I could do it. And back to croatgunner, yes I have tried to make a mod, Im a noob and I quit somewhere half way Lol

Ok....so just an update: The pictures here are just beta pictures....we plan on getting atleast one of each weapon for each slot. We are still trying to get sounds, fixing and finishing some of the gfx. Bottom line...we are almost done the beta. Just wait and we'll eventually post it. We'll also try to get some pictures out to mark our progress.

The only mod that deserves it is Lord Ivahn's Metal Warrior mod.

Also, give some more info, on the progress, as i can make it in 1 hour, if i could be arssed to.

It would be nice to add some ODST's into this mod but....so far as we know...no ODST was featured in Halo Reach YET. We'll see about that when the full game comes out. Although thnx for offering your help and well a little bit sad that it wont be done anytime soon.


As for the Halo Reach beta mod....wait for another week or so....it'll take some time to get the sounds. We could wait for the beta to be released(May 3rd I believe) where we could go and record some sounds. Otherwise not yet

Update #2:
Halofan is having a little problem so he'll be MIA for a while soo Im taking over for now.
We have the basic weapons done(DMR, AR, sniper....etc) and are mainly human.
We hardly have any sounds so that will be slow and Im trying to record some sounds off the beta but too much battle noise  >:( (On the other hand, FUN TIME!! XD)
Im not so sure about the gosteks....gotta ask Halofan about that. We got some interface but sadly still no pictures yet....Im trying to get the config program to work with a few gfx missing and trying to get good pictures for you guys but the AI aint co-operating.

Bottom Line: this isnt going as we planned to go. For now we will be on a minor break until HaloFan can get back into action or until I am not busy so I could finish the gfx. As for the sounds.....we're not even half way done.  :(
