Realistic Mode Options

Hi, I'm new to the forum's but have been playing Soldat and getting mod's for the game for a while.

My idea is for an improvement in the option's.

I was thinking like, you could make it with no special mode(What I mean is, survival or realistic or whatever is ticked.) but have a few of the option's from it. For example, if you wanted to have the looking part from realistic(only able to see what your character see's) but with no mode selected, you could have that and not be hurt from falling or having a recoil on your gun.

OR you could have the hurt from falling but nothing else from the realistic mode.

I hope you enjoy my idea, as I'm pretty new at this.

I like this idea. Soldat as a game that may be modded in so many ways should allow players to use more options and not only realistic mode options. Also you should be able to have custom gamemodes other than CTF/INF/DM/TM/PM/RM like DB/RPG.

The crazy thing about line of sign is that you cant scope ppl with barret, and when you shoot offscreen following your bullet, if the bullet hits a guy, but dont kill, you can see the blood.
Btw, i support the idea for survival mode.

More customization would be nicer of course. I think this has actually been suggested before (or maybe I'm confusing it with something). There are a few downsides though:

1. It'll make even fewer fully-normal servers and fully-realistic servers because there will be a ton of "hybrids".
2. Current filters don't allow enough search functions, so it'll be very very hard to find a perfect server for yourself.

This is a nice feature, but it should be implemented carefully.

It would show the servers that do have realistic mode / survival mode on. No matter which configuration.

You could make it so when playing MP, you could scroll your mouse over a server and the option's that they currently chose for the server is shown in a small table or something.

That'd be helpful, but not quite what I meant.
I mean if there are 200+ servers and you want one that has specific settings.
Instead of going over each server and looking at the info - it would be easier to just specify what you want and hide the servers that don't meet your requirements.
