Bad Company 2 VS Modern Warfare 2

Should I wait to buy BC2 on PC? All I need is a graphics card, maybe some RAM too. Or buy it on PS3?

Depends what you like better. I prefer using a controller and consoles in general so I got it on X360.

The core game is EXACTLY the same, but the PC features are really really good. Like squad organising and the like.

I'd recommend the ps3 because not only the graphics are better but your computer along with other programs open, it may cause lag. on the other hand...for the computer...you could find hacks for it

If you know little about computers like this guy, get it for PS3.

I'm going to wait until I get a better computer, instead of buying it for 360. Waiting until the community matures a little more. I'm hoping there will be no scout servers.

Because the PS3 is limited by its hardware while a PC isn't. As far as I know the PS3 has a shared RAM and GPU with a total of 512 mb.
While a PC, in my case have 4 GB ram and a 4890 1GB. Now these are just specs, it all depends on the game after all.
But as I see it, I doubt the PS3 can have "better" graphics compared to the PC. I mean the consoles doesn't even seem to have AA on any of their games.

Definitely not saying that you shouldn't get it on the console. I own a PS3 myself, it's just that I'm more used to use the mouse than the controller. I really suck at FPS games using the controller especially sniping, that's impossible.

I don't know much about BC2, but I can tell my experience from MW2.

MW2 wasn't that impressive when I first played (live). Since everyone is dying to just get nuke and other deadly kill streaks, players do not move whatsoever, and some even play cheap by having a friend being killed by a player 25 times to get a nuke.

In my view, MW2 shrank players' balls, I definitely prefer COD 4 or WAW.

After at least a week of online gameplay with MW2, i felt it does'nt have as much impact than other games ive played. In most of the rooms ive joined in it, Team play and strategy was practically thrown out the window.

All you'd see was knife monkeys, and mindless akimbo gun wielding zombies on a rampage, while others camping on choke points hoping to get the first lucky shot. Multiplayer maps were too small to have a decent gun battle.

The next game, im looking to get is BC2 and from ive seen, its great. In terms of gameplay AND teamplay.

No it doesnt, BC2 forgoes intense battles for squad/team work. Search up BC2 gametypes on google

Yes and no. If you enjoyed "War" because it featured more players than other game modes, plus vehicles, then BC2 is for you. Big maps, large amount of players and vehicles has been what Battlefield is about forever. You ask a strange question.

I played WaW. "War mode" was just a mini battlefield game mode in Call of Duty.

BattleField Games include more of squad comunication than just rushing out, kill/be killed, respawn and kill again. Bad Company 2 requires teamwork(especially really good with CO-OPERATING people and headsets). So bottom line: Dont expect big battles in BC2...if you like intense battles, get MW2, if you like teamwork more, get BC2.

Wrong. I always get the feeling of being in a huge war in BC2. There's just so much shit going on, helicopters flying over your head, tanks rolling besides you, everybody shooting the f- out of each other. But I'm on the PS3, pehaps people play differently on the pc.

I am glad you made that point. Thats one of the things i really like about BC2. Its not boring for 1 thing. And the team play is WAY better then in MW2. lol. On that note. If yall want to play some BC2 on live add gamer tag "brandonluvz420". Just make sure you mention your from Soldat so i actually add you. lol. Great game on live. BC2 owns MW2. That is all.

::Edit:: Something else i wanted to bring up. BC2 is so much better when your squad has mics. Without it you will be beaten by those who do have them. "There are 3 guys in that red brick building where i just died". So a squad member calls in a mortar strike and the entire building is blown to hell. Nothing like blowing up stuff. Everyone loves that. I guess my point is that if your going to play BC2 on live you need a mic. Oh, did i mention that BC2 is better than MW2?

What are you talking about? BC2 Maps are 2/3x bigger than MW2 maps
