Different jet fuel for different teams

It'd give some awesome mapping opportunities if you could set different amount of fuel for each team.

Let's say you don't want bravo team to fly over some kind of wall - so you set them 50 and if you want alpha team to fly over that wall then you set it to 250.

Discuss?

F11 for one simple reason; maps are supposed to be balanced between teams...There's never a a single one point where one team has an automatic advantage over the other...

It can be added If it's really easy to add. Otherwise It doesn't really necessary I think. It may just be used for INF maps.

I'm not sure whether I like this idea or not.

Pros:
- Allows more room for interesting layouts and balance ideas
Cons:
- It would be kind of annoying and unfair when all the different spots are easy to access for one team and hard for another team.
Both teams should be affected by same advantages and disadvantages of terrain. When one team can avoid some of the terrain's disadvantages and another team can't - it's not really fair. Though I guess it depends on a map.

I agree that you can create some interesting maps with it, but it would need a lot of skill to make that kind of map well-balanced. That's why I'm not sure whether this is worth F12ing or not. :/

Good idea, F12 from me. This would create tons of opportunities for both balancing maps and creating intentionally unbalanced gamemodes. (Non-flying zombies, anyone?)

Worse comes to worse, maps could simply not use the feature. It's not like adding it would change Soldat forever...

Red with more jets would be able to hover more, superman more, and generally have greater mobility.

Have you even considered different scenarios?
Like, if blue has more jets than red. Or if map is so well-balanced that none of the teams have disadvantages even with different jet fuel?

Sure being so narrow-minded will make any idea terrible for you.

Stop being stupid and expecting 16 year old kiddies to make a finely balanced map.

Maps will inevitably have open areas and in open areas the one with more fuel gets to fly higher, longer for headshot advantage. In tunnel maps, the one with more jets gets to move around faster -- if there are many paths to join tunnels there will be more need for jet fuel.

That was only one of possible examples how this feature could be useful (even though rarely). Point out where did I say about every map being perfectly balanced and being made by "kiddies", and I'll shut up.

It's totally up to a mapper to choose a different fuel level. IF he/she wants to she/he can add same fuel level for all teams.

I support Loner though.

This just a suggestion to improve mapping possibilities and/or balance default maps. Maybe? I'm just sayin'.
