Always wanted to know that.
Scripted = Goodly scripted so no "I like classic because scripts are buggy."

Personally I got bored of normal Soldat and I play only scripted stuff like Tactical Trenchwars, zombie modes(The Last Stand <3), Hexer.

Scripted modes are about everything but good old fashioned point and shoot killing...

I rather play scripted gamemodes than normal.
I'm just simply bored of it, and the "OMG MEATSHIELD!!11", "N00b" and "hax0r!" for example just gives me a headache.

It really depends on the mood that I'm in. Sometimes I'm up for old fashioned servers. Other times, I enjoy scripted servers.

Scripting has really changed Soldat. There has been a lot of interesting new gamemodes and gameplay changes based on it.

Goes for me as well.

Though I've been rather tired from Soldat in general lately, so I haven't played at all in awhile.

A mix..

I like stuff like Snipe n Slice (no scripting besides /rules)

But I also love Hide n Seek, which is just one big script

Normal Soldat only if there are absolutely no retards, they steal all the fun D;
Scripted is always beeing fun when the script is good, like hexer

But aswell Climb or such little things bring fun into Soldat.
I can't really say which is better, it depends on much things..

Scripted is better. It adds extra features, improving on the default.

Well, we need more people in hexer ;[ 2 Servers which are only used for CW's or when the eC #1 crashed.

Scripted stuff has absolutely ruined soldat for me. I don't feel like logging on to IRC to get into a gather these days but there are no normal servers anymore. Fuck Snipe and Slice, barret and knife is only fun when you have like 5 people on the other team binking you with autos.

I like both scripted and classic servers, but right now I prefer scripted servers to classic ones.

I'm a purist as well. If I want more complex gameplay I play something that's not Soldat.
