ctf Inka v2
« on: June 11, 2006, 08:27:33 am »
Description: Promising layout ; lots of sceneries; some elements of this map goes from someone's Aerydin map.
I hope you'd like gameplay 8)

Changes in v2: maps is 95% new, it just has layout and titan from previous version. New, less laggy polygons structure, fresh new sceneries, no more dark shades in middle level, new waypoins and spawn points. Manual shading/colouring. Shapes now become a bit simpler, added some anti-spray bariers. Map now certainly easier to move on. And waypoints works much better.

Waypoints: yes
Recommended Players: 4-8
Recomended respawn time: 3s

Really nice looking map and the custom scenery is great.

Edit:
Omg, 1700+ polys, does it lag?

It's very nice, but a problem could be the flagger has so many places to go..might be hard to find anyone -.-
But I do like the scenery you added, and the theme.

i dont know..
it looks nice on first sight but closer observation brings out that it kinda looks a bit ... 'fake'?
all the scenery looks wierd and i hate it when people put red/blue in the spawns/flag it makes me cry :'(
its a realy nice layout though. :)

Hmmm, it's a good map for 5vs5 or more but little too big for less players IMHO.  I like the looks of map though. Good job.
Oh la la.

I really like the jungle scenery, did you make it or get it from somewhere?

Either way, excellent map.

Wraithlike: 1700 polys is not so many....

I was working on map with 8000+ polys, but it seems to me that polyworks is unable to compile such a map  :-[ But it is known that soldat map can contain up to 10'000 polys...

Any words about waypointing? I was a bit diffical to make waypoints work properly... I guess  sometimes bots (especially from the blue team) can stick...

nice map. but I think you can lower the amount of poly used, it's really laggy.
