New Weapon

So I was thinking with the testing of the new WM in progress, maybe it is time to add another weapon to our collections. More precisely I was thinking of a secondary weapon which would be the grenade launcher for an example. It would shoot your grenades 3-4 distance of the normal throw and would allow for vaster gameplay fun

We have enough variety of weapons already. And there are things called the M79 and M72 LAW. Not to mention how powerful grenades already are.

no need for more weapons :/, there are already 14 weapons, even tho chainsaw is useless, and minigun can only selfboost.

Was simply suggesting seeing how soldat is being update soon to 1.5.1 maybe its time to replace or introduce a new weapon to make things a bit more interesting

Could you have utility's then? Say, instead of having a secondary, you could pick inf jets, or increased nade throw range, even extended mags?(blarg mw2, but I wasnt thinking about it I swear). Could be interesting.

Mmm, but they give you a big advantage over the other players(well you could argue that clusters are more of a disadvantage). I was thinking more along the lines of a boost. You could maybe have adrenaline(speed) or a small med pack(+45% health) that you click fire to use? It could recharge every 60 seconds. Just a thought on some diversity.

Except that it just wouldn't be the thing for Soldat, what we need to do right now is fix bugs, glitches, and stabilize the game, after that you can always use a script for something like this.

True. But it wouldn't hurt if who the hell is working on soldat right now gave us the option of being able to add new weapons, primary or secondary, then leave it to the modders, am I right?

That's what weapon modifications are for, check the modding section of the forums.

I really liked that idea. I want to come have a single weapon type. M16A4 or FAMAS. 3 Round burst is cool.

If this really does happen.... The game will either be:

1) Using grenade launcher/ spam/ blind shot
2) More explosion = more lag + players getting pissed

Sorry, although this idea is interesting..... I can see the future of Soldat becoming worse and worse if the weapon actually gets added.

Im getting tired of seeing people just sticking to the norm and just asking for bug fixes and updates when, clearly, there is'nt going to be one quite soon. just look at it.
