Does anyone visit soldatpage.u13.net or use its' webring anymore?  At least one forum hosted on that site is just overrun by spam bots (I noticed because my mail server sent 6000 registration e-mails for it today).

I suspect other parts of the site have fallen into the same kind of disrepair.  If nobody actually uses the site anymore, I'm just going to take it offline instead of address these problems individually.

Please post here if you use it or have a convincing argument for keeping it online.

Also, if you're familiar with this site and believe it serves no purpose anymore, please say so.

I don't use this said site, but I do have a question about a related-to-soldat site.

One of the map resources I use, the Map Automation Daemon site, gives me a 403 Forbidden Error. Have you or anyone else noticed this problem as well? It's been like this for me for months and I hadn't bothered to mention it until now.

MAD/soldathq is not hosted by FLAB. Looks like it might have been pwn'd by bots though.

I have used soldatpage.u13.net, it has been helpful for the range of apps etc on there. I have never used its forums myself, always used here...
If it is becoming awkward to keep the website going in its current form, it would be nice if there could still be an easily accessible directory or something with all the files in.

I didn't even know about that site up until now. Maybe it's not worth taking down - it just needs some promotion, redesign and a button here on forums that is noticeable enough. I dont see the need for forums when we already have SF, but the rest of the site could be redesigned to serve as a mod/app download center, where links would't die with time.

You seem to be missing my point - this site has been unmaintained for years, the owner is not involved in Soldat anymore.  I'm not offering to fix the site up, I'm asking if there's any value in leaving it up how it is now.
