Profile selection in new soldat starter?

Meh, why not.
Personally I think that the GUI ingame needs changing to make the ingame profile selection thing work differently, but this sounds reasonable - F12.

I have different taunts for diffetent gamemodes on diffetent profiles, and it would be a pain to switch between them if profile menu was in the launcher.
So I think it should stay as part of Soldat menus (at least until there's a way to switch between sets of taunts without switching profiles). Besides, it's not like anything's wrong with the way it is now.

I guess you misunderstood the idea or Elwy wasn't clear with it.
The idea is (and I hope I got it right, otherwise I suggest it in this form) to add profile selection into mod starter, not replace the current one from Soldat.exe. Thus we'll have new switch for Soldat.exe to run game with specific profile. Something like:
Soldat.exe -profile ID
Soldat.exe -profile NAME

This new feature will not harm anyone but could be useful for someone

why dont just put mod starter into Soldat ?

Choosing the Mod by -Options-Mods (like -Options-Interface ) ?
