Minecraft in general
« on: March 09, 2011, 09:09:44 am »
So it seems a fair few people have Minecraft. So why not share some exploits, pics of what your doing. Heres some from me to start.

My Minecraft castle. Roughly 65% my work, 35% 4 other people. Thats the foundations and 1st floor. Its 100x100 blocks, 2000+ blocks so far. Taken 2-3 full days of Minecraft, spread over 2 and a half weeks. Pic taken from my friends tree house in the cliff :P Its gonna be EPIC :D

I only wanted to get rid of one tree...

oh well. Lol.

Hell Guile, he didn't even use invedit. Cobblestone and coal are as easy as your mom to get. And by mentioning coal, I mean you can turn cobblestone back into regular stone via a bunch of furnaces.

I didnt use invedit, but I did use give *name* 1 64...alot. Its still hard work and takes time, whether I got the stone legit or not. Gongi to make something in my single player world from cobblestone->stone soon.

I'm pretty sure he did use invedit, because it takes so many resources to get one stack of TNT which is suspicious.

Also, you can't stack flint and steel. Only via inventory editing/hacking.

EDIT: invedit or /give command, doesn't really matter. CHeating is cheating.

Nope, I didn't. If you give yourself more then 3? of something that isnt stackable, you will pick up 2 which will be stacked and and 1 wont be. I have myself 10 flint+Steel and 9 stacked and one didn't. Please don't jump down my throat without knowing your facts.

Do you realise the effort involved in something tihs big? And the give command is in multiplayer for a reason man....It would be silly not to use it.

Oh, and since I know about invedit now, I might make use of it. Its a pain having to constantly ctr+c crtl+v to give myself lots of stone.

A few friends and I went on a Minecraft binge right around new year's. It was horrifying. A whole civilization with only three people in it.

yea that is sweet. My friends are turning a mountain in to a castle from the inside out, but atm everything's on the inside and looks random and shitty... no pics yet...

as for Invedit not being cool, I partially agree, and the only reason I'm 50/50 on this is because I use MC Edit a lot and even though I don't mean it to I get/have a shit load of resources (My diamond hoes are awesome!) Either way I think building cool shit in MC is what makes you 'cool' not digging for resources for 3 hours...

Dammit, I really want to play minecraft but I'm just sick of doing it alone. :( Can't anybody host a SF-community server?

I don't get it, why so much talk about MC and making a SF-community but no action!! (Shit, I'd run two servers out of my house if my internet didn't suck)
