CTF_ByBo (BOUNCY; for 1.5.1f)
« on: March 14, 2011, 10:05:55 pm »
Was playing around with new polyworks and bouncy polys, got a little carried away and made.. this. It's a dodgeball-like map but with bouncy floor and walls, and explosive ceiling.
Before playing - make sure to set mode to survival and disable all guns except M79. I also recommend playing with cluster grenades enabled.

This map is for Beta 1.5.1f. Don't even try to play it in 1.5 or older.

This map is now hosted HERE.
Much thanks to Falcon!

Yeah, this map was made just for shits and giggles to test new polytypes. I just thought there should be at least one map with bouncy and explosive polys so that others could try them out too.
Though I didn't expect M79 to be so useless when it comes to pushing. :S I was hoping to make players try to skillfully boost each other into explosive polys, but even direct hit with M79 just doesn't provide enough push in the right direction.

try giving them spas with increased velocity. They'll be pushed back as well - fun fun fun!
