How about that when an enemy has the flag...if you punch him he will drop the flag?

Maybe a 50% chance?

Humm, I either don't see a reason why it shouldn't be done, but it's useless anyways. At least that situation where you can punch the flag out of enemy, is very rare.

Imagine how frustrating it would be if you literally bump into an enemy and then the flag you were carrying suddenly goes POOF. Gone. Because of one lucky punch your enemy laid on you.
I say no, it just gives more room for luck and less room for skill, when you actually have to kill the flagger and return the flag before enemy's teammates grab it again.

Is it really possible to punch the EFC without killing him first?
I say it's very hard but if a player actualy punches the EFC then it should be 50% of the enemy dropping the flag. So F12!!

As mentioned by Loner, it does create more room for chance and luck, and it could be a buzz kill, especially in the more decent servers.

Some members of this forum seems to think only the main mode is played.

F11, flagger is supposed to carry the flag on his back and it should only drop when he's dead or he throws it away.

F11. I dislike chance. Even if it was 100%, I can see it making more people upset/angry/pissed off/etc. than more people happy/satisfied/etc.

I would be against having this feature re-introduced, simply my opinion.
It is a nice idea, and I can see why they used to have it, but removing the flag through jostling would be confusing for some people, and I can already get my weapon taken off me that way = no weapon + no flag xD
The game has enough `chance`-related things in the game (mainly due to bugs) that we have no need for such a feature imo.

I would say F11. Have the knife on hand at the time for the same effect, except that also kills (most of the time) the enemy. So much more enjoyable. It's pointless to reintroduce this.

This. If your carrying a flag on your back, a punch shouldn't drop it. Disarming is enough of a power for fists. You could just kill him and he'd drop it anyway....And if you did punch him and he dropped it, then where would it go? If it worked the same as throwing then the FC would know where to run to get it back, if it always went in one direction then it would be simple to counter. Waste of time having something liek this...

This would be really helpful if it would only be introduced to the FFC. So you can make an afk FFC drop the flag. It often happens on public servers that some FFC suddenly doesn't move anymore and votekicking him to get the flag back is kind of extrem (he may come back in 1-2 min) and takes too much time.

Interesting idea.. If it's not able to be done accidentally (e.g. takes 5 seconds of punching him or something), then I'd be all for that idea.
