Hey Community!

I know I didn't do a lot of updates lately but some of you probably noticed the changes on the bugtracker.

Last time I said the hotfix will be out in two weeks. Ehm yeah :3 I have no idea how many weeks passed so lets say on Sunday it's two weeks ;D

That means Soldat 1.6.1 will be released just before SFCTL 19* starts. Isn't that great? :D
I still miss a few translations (not everything is translated :S) so if you know anyone who did the translations for Soldat ask them if they could translate it again ;).

Sorry XmRipper the untranslated stuff will have to wait till 1.6.2.
Translators should have more then 48h to update the translations.

I will fix it after this release then it can be translated without stress.

Talking about translations... the English translation is awful on the wording for this option in the setup: "Blank screen while bonus fix (ATI cards)", wouldn't it be "Fix for black screen while player is on bonus (ATI cards)"? Screen turns black when it happens, also it happens when a player is on bonus... the other way it seems a "blank" screen appears while bonus is fixing (like attaching to something). It's really awkward to translate that when I don't know what it does exactly... which I do fortunately.

I played this video game because I could turn it on and play a fast, fun, arcade videogame that I didnt have to treat seriously. Soldat is a sport for a lot of you I realise, but for me it was just a solid way to procrastinate.

It was both accessible and playable. I dont feel I should require social networking just to make Soldat a functional videogame. Does not the idea of idling on IRC for the teens getting home from school to reach critical mass just for a single available server leave a bad taste in your mouth? To be honest, Id rather file a class action suit against Telstra!

I've updated the finnish translations, but I'm not sure if they are alright, because they didn't work for some reason. Have to try that again when I get back home.

social networking? you hop on a webchat and type in !add whenever you want to play. the dedicated australian community is on #ausgather, most of the gathers are played from like 7pm onwards daily.

Seems like we need a few days more to finish stuff.

Sorry! :S

Things missing right now:

- changelog.txt for server and client
- update.txt and update.sh update
- new changelog in manual
- Soldat patch installer update
- testing installers
- basic Soldat testing
- and some small stuff like the patch file which needs to be uploaded etc

I want to release it in 2 or 3 days if possible but not sure if I have the time as my vacations just ended :<

Please also include the "feature"  ::) , that serveradmins are excluded from pingkickbans, votekickbans and floodkickbans.
This was default in last soldat version afaik.
