Suggest a game thread.

I'm reaching dangerous levels of bored.
So, as the topic says, suggest a game... do include if it only has SP/MP or both.

So I'll start I guess...


SPAZ (Space Pirates and Zombies)

It's a fairly fun 2d game, unfortunately it only has single player.

Xonotic, free multiplayer fps. Plays like all the good parts in Quake and Unreal series together. Very fast paced, intense and awesome. Graphics are around ~2007.

Xonotic is nexuiz. The inventor of nexuiz sold the name and so the community forked it.

Xonotic is a heavily modified version of what Nexuiz used to be, has more alive community, lots of good improvements and better weapon balance/differences.
New commercial version of Nexuiz is pure bullshit by the way and nobody plays it.

I also recommend testing out a game called Red Eclipse, it's free as well.

There's the new Planetside coming out to be looking for, and there's plenty of f2p games on steam.. not sure how good they are. Arma 2's kinda cool, like DayZ, probably the most survival realistic military simulator with zombies, online

Just Cause 2, tons of mindless fun and beautiful graphics. Officially it's only SP, but in the past month or so, a team released a trailer for their MP mod (think gta:SA MP) and how much they had progressed. Yesterday they announced an open beta for 24 hours and it still has 2 hours left (I think). Right now the mod is havoc and totally lawless with a few hundred players in the only server at any given time. http://www.jc-mp.com/

Age of conan is free to play now. It's an mmo like wow but with svords and more active combat system.
The developers has listened to their players so the game has developed into a seriously good game.
The first part of the game is a mix of multiplayer and singleplayer, and the quests are cool throughout the game.

Max Payne 3 was a nice little romp. Developed by Rockstar who also made Red Dead Redemption.

There's also the Humble Indle Bundle which always carries some goodies.

Attached. Your virus scanner might bitch at you but I think it's fine as it plays for me. It also sucks if you have dual monitors.

It's more like an interactive story rather than a game, but the story is really good. If original story and strong atmosphere are something you enjoy - I recommend you check it out. (Single-player only, obviously)
