Players weapons stats while spectating

Hi,

I have a little idea about weapons stats. Each player can see his weapon stats, but while spectating, this window is blank. Maybe it's better to add a feature that spectating players can see weapons stats of each player on the server. On the top left and top right of the window would be arrows which allows to change player weapons stats. For example: actually im watching Player1 weapons stats, but i wan't now to watch Player2 weapons stats so i'm going to click arrow on top right to do this. Little feature, but i guess helpfull for streamers and commentators.

Currently weapon stats are local only. The server does not create them.
With the removal of portal (the soldat account stuff) weapon stats on the server dissipated as well.

Hmm I don't see a good chance for this to be implemented as it adds little value to the game.
It sound more like a nice to have thing than something people would use often :/

For what it's worth, I'd love to be able to see other players stats.


For example I could press F2 while spectating and get the stats of the player.


It would be useful for players streaming/ commentating competitive matches too.

Sure it would be fun to see player stats, but generally, the higher hit accuracy you have, the worse you're doing (you're not spraying enough).

Anyway, the only good reason would be to find hackers, though, an actual anti-cheat would do better.

And I don't think like speakers those comment matches will find time to look at those tables while there's a match already happening and there's need to comment what happens there. I would enjoy statistics like: Amount of Flags Those weren't Captured, Flag Possession for Each Player and craps like in football. That would be something what you should ask for. Not the weapon stats.

Maybe it could be added as an optional server setting. If it's enabled - server would fetch all players' weapon stats (and maybe other stats too) and store it so other players can access it. I understand that there already are stat scripts but IMHO they're a bit clunky when it comes to using and viewing them. Some sort of built-in solution that is easier to use would be nice.

I agree though, it's not such an important feature that we cant live without. Better spend your time on more important things.
