Can you be more specific about trademark issues?As for M72 LAW, I always figured in practical terms it was kind of a one shot deal, with a reload for gameplay reasons. Same reason for the other weapons, I don't really give a damn about gun specifications so forgive me, but I believe they fire much faster and have way smaller clips than they do in Soldat.So without knowing why there's trademark issues, I can't see anyone agreeing to change the names as it would cause only confusion.
Has MM received any lawsuits recently? If not i doubt they will pay attention to games like soldat. Are all of soldat's weapon names trademarked?

would it be able to cause trademark issues if you just shortened the weapons' names and made them official? such as deagles, ak, steyr, barret, law etc

What about Minigun? AFAIK it's so widely used it might not be an "official" name anymore (if it even was in the first place)
