Inactive staff pruning
« on: August 29, 2013, 06:53:34 pm »
Hello all.

The following moderators/admins have either not logged in or haven't done anything for a *very* long time. In the interest of forum security, their staff powers have been (temporarily*) removed for the time being. This is mainly in case the accounts get bruteforced/hacked as I have no way of knowing whether or not they use safe passwords.

Lapis Lazuli (global moderator)
Twistkill (global moderator)
Chakra :( (global moderator)
SDFilm (global moderator)
The Geologist (admin)
Sethamundo (global moderator)
chrisgbk (admin)

* If they ever return, they'll have their powers reinstated if they ask.

Figured I'd let you guys know.

Ìs there even some kind of staff list?
For signatures, you are allowed only one image in your signature which may not be wider and taller than 300 and 125 pixels, and may not be over 20kB in file size. No BMPs are allowed.

Make me a mod.
?
:)
That wouldn't be much of a job, but if Soldat gets greenlit or HIB'd

We have a few new mods already that are doing their job well, and even with them we're still kinda overstaffed.

These forums don't get 200+ posts a day like they did in 2007 (this forum's peak in activity), so there's no real reason to have lots of mods.

If these forums get overrun with new members *then* we'll look into more mods.

Solution to low traffic: create a new sub-forum called 'The CrusadePit' where I am mod and we will see a new peak! :P

We're trying to get more members not send existing members away.

There's that, and it's kind of an unspoken rule amongst forums staff everywhere to not grant mod perms to people who ask for them. :P
