You have to manually adjust map name cause it won't load otherwise(too many characters).

I thinking about multi textures, instead of more shading polygons.

What o you say about this?
[work in progress, so dont focus too much on details]



For now I working on polygons and textures.
I did that shading just for this image so its not polished to much...
And for now I used old sceneries just to see how it would looks.

This legitimately impresses me. Old nuubia is ugly as hell, which I can personally attest to as I've played it hundreds of times over the past decade (no kidding).

Yes, proceed with the multitexture plox.

He he. Nope. All my maps i slowly "convert" just like my ash remake. This map have about 400-480 polygons now(this part of map have only 200) and most of sceneries should take less than 900KB.
[I think that 1.5MB for soldat map is perfect considering its look.]

Beside i have testing map for 1.6.7beta with everything to max(almost 7mb) and still i get almost 60fps, just like set in settings. So dont worry about performance  xd xd xd

As I said few times I just like connecting polygons, I have massive amount of maps but they are nothing more that "artistic image" rather than map. So Making map is for me a bit annoying because I spend last few year using PW as a graphic program not map app xD xD But dont worry, If I manage change Ash from 1.8MB with massive amount of polygons to simple graphic remake of original, Its nothing hard to finish this one :]

btw. How come you can't get 60fps stable in soldat. Yet you play Crysis.
With a 4770k + 780ti I get 1000fps in Soldat if I disable v-sync.

Because I play crysis on my PC and soldat on my netbook, and because I dont spend so much time in my room I use netbook more often and I have in soldat settings limiter to 60fps :]

Beside I have no idea why you post this YT link, read:

Don't be pissed off. Just tweak the colors and shading. Better take care of it first before working on details.
