Hello Community!

There it is the announced 1.6.8b2 ;)

If you already have the 1.6.8b1 client you should be able to update via the new update button on the exit tab, let me know how well that worked for you ;)

Soldat 1.6.8b2 changelog:
- Added cannot vote message for command /votemap
- Modified the Soldat Evolved weapon graphics with tweaks made by L[one]R
- Fixed health bar shows empty if health exceeds limit #491
- Fixed SC3 WorldTexts in non-static position if Scale Interface is deactivated
- Fixed "no map has been voted." message if vote has been successful
- Fixed ban on bots in singleplayer mode should return a kick message
- Fixed to not start vote for voting client if server rejected the vote
- Fixed successful map votes did not change the map
- Fixed Trying to join any server results in error if you provide any password #589
- Fixed Message displayed above the wrong player #417

Great job on the weapons, L[one]R!

Also this is still relevant. To me at least... ]:
ALT+R = Reloading
ALT+F = Dropping weapon
ALT+Q = Changing to secondary
Frustrating...

- Patch worked great for me

- Fixed ban on bots in singleplayer mode should return a kick message <--Fixed, but there's another thing: /addbot blain will add Blain, but /kick blain or /ban blain will not work. You have to do /kick Blain or /ban Blain (You need to write the capital letters)

Glad to see people liking the tweaks to the weapon graphics so far. I've just released another update with yet more tweaks.
It's a shame it didn't make it into this beta, but it contains quite a few significant tweaks so I urge you to apply the patch before playing the beta.

Tried Ctrl+C and releasing Ctrl first, nothing's written.

Scenario: you're escaping top on ctf_Rotten and you want to throw it and taunt "Free top" quickly and it binds an action...
There are many other scenarios which this might be irritating, you need to keep moving fast and at the same time provide the information for your team. When an unwanted action is performed this might slow you down and most of the time also help the enemy with an easy kill.

Almost no one plays what?

Alt+R is a bind for a taunt, so is Alt+F and Alt+Q... When I do a taunt that's using these letters, it also performs the action (Reload, Drop weapon, Change to secondary)...
What I want it is, for these key to not perform these actions when Alt is involved, so I can taunt while something critical happens during game and still keep moving.

If you think by any chance that I meant to change default from, for example: "R" for reload -> Alt+R for reload, that's not what I meant at all. :)

I approve this even if I don't use taunts. This should be fixed. Maybe not many ppl use these keys for taunts but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work as expected - without action being performed. Homer updated the ticket in mantis so check his comment there.

I'm not sure if there was a thread about this already. But I prefer if you could discuss this in that thread (or a new one if there isn't one) instead as this isn't really a bug in 1.6.8b2.
