Devlog update (2014-11-19) More fixes and waiting for feedback

This week was rather dull.

I've fixed some important bugs:
- Fixed spiderman bug
- Fixed scrambled scriptcore weapon ids
- Fixed issues with HWID and long nicknames

The other team members didn't finish anything though.

If you have issues with soldat rendering please help us with testing: bug  #599

Like mentioned last week we like to get more feedback on the new default weapon mod.

There is also a need for a SCTFL banner.gif.
It should be 256 kb or less in size (doesn't have to be animated).
You can find discussions on this thread and on SCTFL forums.

I especially urge Dodgeballers and knife-only players to try out the new mod because knife's graphics have been made a pixel taller to fix some alignment issues. I tested it and didn't notice any new problems, but it would be nice if hardcore knifers could double-check just to make sure, so we won't run into any complaints AFTER 1.6.9 is out.

Knife, in my opinion, could be more visible. I mean cutting edge could be much whiter and also whole knife could be a bit bigger

Are you also talking about the actual hitbox of the knife? If so, why would the knife need a buff? Right now, the weapon-gfx match the hitbox, and simply making it bigger would only make it harder to use.
