Honestly I can give a try...well I made a new artwork (pixelart) I like it coz it looks kind of real....a soldier picture...I post it later. I try the explosion , but make an explosion even with animating effect will be something really new for me and a big deal ...I smell competition again....yeah!

I know It's damn hard. I'm absolutly unskilled in this way of modding...but I think I try to make one realistic explosion - like the one default from soldat and one 2D game like - Metal Slug for example.

Anyways. Here's the mod. It's just a beta. It's released now because I almost forgot for the flamer,nade,bow,fist - and for minigun. : \
The sad thing is that the minigun I used is one of my older mods. I already have one new but it's too bright and my PS is not working.

I quess you mean the Rainbow 6 Vegas mod. Next time think before post and before thinkin' try to READ.

If you know ANY minigun from Rainbow 6 just tell me and I make it for you...

Well, I forgot to mention, the 1st post in 1st page is updated once again. And the download will be as fast as I can work. There are still few guns I have to make, I will finish the CS mod, and hardly R6. (this is wroten in 1st page in news anyway I guess)

And I added there even the gostek I posted one page ago and I wanted it as far as I remeber. And the interface...or you wanted the interface ? Ah , whatever ... download as much as you can. And enjoy it.

Ok, here is the thing:

I have more reasons. For example. Im here a long time and teh modding community just changed. It isnt like before, I mean, look on my topic for example: the 1st pages are full of differend people with so many ideas and suggestions and was talking about my modding. Nowadays its like this: I post a pack with 30 brand new guns. I dont wanna be cocky but honestly they are one of the best around here or better say they are nice and I will get replies from 2 guys. Im tired of making so many things without some more reply. Its pretty time eating to make such a amount of sprites for a game community which is so small. At last it looks like its small. MM is making a new game which will have another style of sprites (I quess) so It will be somewhat useless to make much more and in few months the soldat will get replaced by that game and I can throw all my work to a trashbin. Next thing: Im already modding to another games. Well, better to say Im just starting. 1st game is my really favorite online RPG free 2D game called Wesnoth (www.wesnoth.org). I just love the small 2D graphic and a was always into fantasy gaming. The second game is called Cortex Command where are some Soldat modders too (NumGun for example). Im not much into modding of that game but I think I will get used to or I just leave there.

And one more thing. Im without internet at all, so I cant really try my guns in action and my Soldat on my Pc is screwed up...

So If you still dont understand some things just ask and I will answer.

Maybe I missed some reasons but feck them...

EDIT: Oh, almost forgot, there are still few awesome modders here so I know the community of modding wont be empty (abadonded) so I guess you wont even recognise Ill be not around here (Well, at least I wont really leave, I will watch this modding community still because I like it and Im here really long period of time so Its something like habit to look on this forums and to this section). And after all....I know I wont be so missed.

First came Papasurf. Now comes Dairy. There shall be another to continue the legacy of SF Modding Greats.

This part will only truly die when Link-Dead takes over. I'm sure even then there will still be a huge number of soldat players still attracted to the simplicity of its gameplay.

Look around there for random shooter-based mods and you might find some cute 3d renders or even concept art for alot of original weapons.

Also try image search in google or other like altavista or some search engine that has an image search by using common weapon related words and even combining them together.

(Chaingun, Rifle, Pistol, Cannon, Plasma, Blade, Laser, Flak, Shotgun, Photon, EMP, Tachyon, Thermo/Thermal, Positron, Proton, Neutron, Machine Gun, Carbine.)

Also you might try using those words in a normal word search and click on links that you feel lucky on. Ive gotten tons of weapons and ideas for weapons this way.

Don't worry, I just reinstal my counter-strike to get the original sounds....make some weapons-gfx and it's done. It will contain even a shield , taser ,older version of knife , Condition version of USP and some more ...but that will come later.
