What weapon does it replace ? Sorry, stupid question; what I meant to ask is if you could post the WM for it too.

oh man,i can't beleve i forgot to tell you. it replaces the AK. I was going to replace the FN MINMI but it only has a 20 rnd magazine, so figured its not a good LMG (by today's standards)

i thought the BAR was quite a heavy machine gun and would have a support thingy at the front.

EDIT: thought so http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bd/Machine_gun_BAR_1.jpg

EDIT v1.1: it appears im just being silly, i shoulda thought that people would research, silly me.

well, the stand on the firnt was removable, becasue most of the time you didn't need it. (only helps if your fireing form prone of fixed positions) so most of our boy's didn't use 'em.
"Here's a big fat for instance" http://www.tarawaontheweb.org/tinian_BARman1.jpg
and a few mpre, jsut to prove the point

That, and the BAR's combat weight was ~~ 20 lbs, wich is admitadly heavy, but by no means uncontrolable.
((see, i did research ;)))

It's a very nice looking gun, and I'd download it but I love my Halo Mod too much to give it up :) Thumbs up for this, keep up the good work.

Extra weight in WWII wasn't exactly frowned upon; it helps keep your gun steady, especially if it is a light machine gun. Take a look at the tommy gun for instance. This replacement looks sweet, I think it's better fit in the Steyr slot myself, but it doesn't matter. Today with composites and all the extra equipment we give each soldier the lighter the weapon, the better.

fair point. however, i beleve the images speak for themselves. My point simply was, the only time a front-stand would be helpful lthe the weilder of a BAR was in prone, or fixed firing positions. many solders simply didn't need a stand. Hence, it would't be inaccurate to make a BAR that dosnt have one.

Not bad, but it looks like there is a plastic bag all over the gun. Otherwise It looks nicely to me.
