Ok so I tried waiting for 2 minutes on the gray screen then it put me in game.But no controls worked the way it should,my Soldat guy moved on its own. I couldn't type.

I took a screeny of the message I got.

NEVERMIND!

All you have to do is delete your selfkil.com in the txt file and it works ^^

Aye, this has happend to me just today.. I'll let it pass for now, as it could be similar to that error with the ad server.

This happened to me also, which txt file are you talking about?

EDIT: Nevermind, i found it, it's on the lobby_servers on the Txt folder, thanks :)

Thanks i had the same problem and you delete selfkil.com in the lobby_servers text file.

selfkill.com is having DNS problems as they change servers.  If you delete it from the file, put it back in a couple days, otherwise your lobby server in game will not work as well in the future

The gather crew has found some solutions to help these problems by editting the hosts file so that selfkill.com leads to its IP.

I believe only the second part of the post applies to this problem.

I can understand this being an on-line issue, but I'm getting it for off-line games as well? Just a blank, grey screen that I have to Alt+F4 out of?  ???

Ditto. except if you wait long enough, it will take you into the game still, then about a minit later, THEN it freezes...

Same as above....just sticks on requesting then a few seconds later got that message about the lobby being down...strange though. Hasnt been working all day :(
