Adding Friends System

i don't know if this has been asked about yet.
but i thought it'd be pretty cool to have an "Add Friend" control or system...
like maybe not added to the game but to the side thing like yahoo IM or something.
To see if you have a friend online or something, and (or) send private messages.
Or maybe like invite them to play with you in a server or something.

Soldat 1.5.1 beta already has a similar system called Soldat Portal. It has many features including a friends list and an ability to send private messages to players. Not a real-time chat, but still useful.

Yes the current beta has a friends list, and so will the stable release. Locked.
